When you try to edit existing event in new manage iCAL events, IE7 will crash and will apear blank withe page. If you try to navigate youre brouser back and then refresh the page, editing event will apear, but when you go to Calendar tab (if you want to change repeat options) you will get this :

[attachment=0:2huc3of6]<!-- ia0 -->jevents1.5alpha.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:2huc3of6]

As you can see no other option, then start date is avaible.

This appears to be a problem with TinyMCE in MSIE7.

If after you fail to load the event you go back to the menu and try again it appears to work without the error.

I'll look into it - in the meantime you could try Firefox which doesn't have this problem

This may be a small bug in the mootools javascript library when the calendar scripts are not in the browser cache.

Can you try commenting out the line that loads the calendar in admin.events.html.php (c. line 394 and line 1835). So that it reads:

//JHTML::_('behavior.calendar');
