I am running AutoTweet NG Pro in joomla along with a Jevent calendar. I was wondering if the twitter/facebook plugin will merge the two so that any additions/updates to calendar events would automatically send out to facebook and twitter. Just wondering before I purchase the membership.

that part of the update is driven by AutoTweet. From my understanding it can drive an update of both Twitter and Facebook (if you have the commercial version of AutoTweet).

What the JEvents plugin does is provide the hooks that AutoTweet calls to get the update data.

If it doesn't do what you expect please report back in the silver member forum

Geraint,

this is a stupid question:
I also run AutoTweetNG Pro and installed the JEvents plugin for this.
But now I want to exclude some JEvents categories. I have to put the category ID in the exclude field of your plugin, but I do not know where to get the ids of my categories!?
When I go to the category config in JEvents there is no id of the categories showing up?

This is annoying I agree

The easiest place to get the category ids is to hover your mouse over the links in the legend module.

OK, got it, thanks.

Anyway, it would be better to have the category id in the category list in the backend.

@kchisholm:

I did several tests with the JEvents Plugin, running the latest version of AutoTweetNG Pro.
Everything works just fine for me.

Just to let you know.
